The VCU Office of Health Initiatives, in partnership with the Health Humanities Lab at the Humanities Research Center, is pleased to announce the History and Health: Rural Health series which includes eight online learning modules focused on topics related to health care in rural communities and strategies to advance health outcomes.
Modules are free, open to all, and available on Canvas Catalog. Participants also have the opportunity to earn a digital badge.

The 4th Annual History and Health Symposium, hosted by the VCU Office of Health Initiatives and the VCU Humanities Research Center, explored how access to maternity care and resources is related to improving health outcomes.
Addressing patients’ health-related social needs, including housing, food access, legal services and employment opportunities.
